The quiet return of the urban beehive
B Researchers found that city hives produced almost twice as much honey per season as hives on nearby farmland, although they cautioned that one year of data could not show whether the difference would last.
Question 4
City hives will continue to produce more honey than farmland hives.
Not quite. The text doesn't say it will or won't continue. That's NOT GIVEN.
Every question type and band criterion, explained in plain English with original examples. Free and open to everyone.
Full tests on a screen that behaves like the real one: timer, highlighter, notes, review flags, single-play audio.
Band scores per criterion, your mistakes underlined in red pencil, and the exact lesson that fixes each one.
The real exam screen
IELTS is now taken on computer almost everywhere. Our practice screen works the same way, so you spend the test answering questions instead of learning the interface.
Part 1
Let's talk about where you live.
Speaking
Not record-and-upload. Our examiner runs the real script: Part 1 questions, a cue card with one minute to prepare, a firm stop at two minutes, then a Part 3 discussion.
Writing feedback
In recent years, the number of people working from home have increased dramatically. Some argue this trend benefits both employers and staff, however others believe it harms the social life of workers. This essay will discuss both views before giving my own opinion.
Grammar: subject–verb agreement, “the number … has increased”
Punctuation: join two full clauses with a semicolon or a full stop before “however”
Word choice: “workers' social lives” sounds more natural
Each criterion is scored separately against the public band descriptors. When the evidence is borderline, you see a range, never false precision.

Private quick feedback on supported computers. Nothing leaves your device.
Our WebMCP tools let your browser's AI answer IELTS questions from our guides.

No. Bee English is independent. Our tests are original, written to follow the official format, question types and rules, and our practice screen copies how the computer-delivered test works.
Each criterion is marked against the public IELTS band descriptors by a scoring model built for consistent judgements. When it's unsure, we show a range instead of one number. Treat scores as a guide, not an official result.
Since mid-2026 IELTS is delivered on computer almost everywhere. Knowing where the timer, review flags and highlighter are saves you minutes on test day.
Your voice is turned into text in your browser (on your device where Chrome supports it). We store the text and timing, not your audio.
