What we store
- Your Google sign-in: your name and email address, so you can sign in and see your own progress.
- Your practice: the answers you give, your scores and when you took each test.
Only you can see your practice history. We don't sell your data or show ads.
Improving our free scoring
Bee English is free. We pay for every AI scoring run ourselves. To keep offering free scoring, we keep the text of writing answers and speaking transcripts, together with the scores they received, and use them to improve our scoring.
This copy contains no personal data: no name, email, account or anything that links it to you. Email addresses, phone numbers and links that appear in an answer are removed before it is kept. Because the copy isn't linked to you, it can't be found or removed later, so please don't write personal details in your answers.
What stays on your device
- The grammar and spelling checker on your results runs in your browser.
- Corrections and model rewrites from Chrome's built-in AI run on your device and are not sent to us.
- Speaking recordings are never uploaded. With On-device speech recognition, your voice never leaves your device. With Most accurate, your browser sends audio to its own speech service (for Chrome, Google) to turn it into text.
Deleting your account
Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your sign-in and practice history. The unlinked scoring copies described above are not affected, since they can't be traced to you.
